Roundtable Statements

Our lunchtime roundtable chat, with Merideth Garcia (UW LaCrosse), James Hammond (UoM), Virginia M. Schwarz (UW Madison), and Crystal Van Kooten (OU), will take place after everyone has had a chance to get some food and get settled.

The speakers we invited to participate in our roundtable discussion at lunch have each responded to one of the strands in “The Braid of Writing Assessment, Social Justice, and the Advancement of Opportunity: Eighteen Assertions on Writing Assessment with Commentary,” which was a key feature of our CFP for this conference.

Their presentation of these responses, during lunch, will be followed by cross-talk and discussion with the audience.

Drafts of their short statements can be found here.
